As a Data Protection Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will assist businesses in navigating the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Within our Cybersecurity & Privacy practice, you will focus on developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information.

As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward isn’t clear. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, while upholding professional and technical standards. This position offers the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, using reflection to enhance strengths and address development areas.

Responsibilities

- Advising clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations to maintain compliance
- Conducting privacy impact assessments and developing privacy policies to safeguard personal information
- Implementing data protection measures to navigate complex privacy requirements
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights and recommendations
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Responding effectively to diverse perspectives and needs within client engagements
- Leveraging cybersecurity and privacy knowledge to address data breach and information security challenges
- Collaborating with teams to develop privacy programs and regulatory compliance strategies
- Reviewing legal documents and providing guidance on legal matters related to data protection
- Engaging in investigation and records management to support privacy compliance efforts

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
