As a Data Protection Associate, you will specialize in providing strategic guidance and support to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations, helping them navigate the complex landscape of compliance requirements. Within our Cybersecurity & Privacy practice, you will be part of a dynamic team that offers comprehensive legal solutions and advice to internal stakeholders and clients, minimizing legal risks across various industries. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be driven by curiosity, adapting to diverse client needs and challenges, and taking ownership to consistently deliver value. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information. You will build meaningful client connections, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical knowledge, all while embracing opportunities for growth in increasingly complex situations.

Responsibilities

- Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients across various industries
- Assisting in the development and implementation of privacy policies and data protection measures to safeguard personal information
- Conducting privacy impact assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborating with clients to navigate complex privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws
- Utilizing cybersecurity and privacy knowledge to enhance data protection strategies and minimize legal risks
- Engaging in legal document review and providing advice on legal matters related to data protection
- Supporting client teams in understanding and applying professional and technical standards related to privacy and data protection
- Gathering and analyzing information from diverse sources to discern patterns and inform strategic decisions

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
