What You'll Do

We are seeking a motivated Working Student to support our Data Protection Team. In this role, you will support compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws across the organization, gaining hands-on experience in data protection while working closely with the Data Protection Team and relevant cross-functional stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support our Data Protection Team in handling day-to-day data protection matters and implementing GDPR requirements in practice
  • Conduct research and assist in preparing legal analyses and assessments on data protection and privacy matters.
  • Support the maintenance and updating of our records of processing activities (RoPA) and other data protection documentation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data protection management system
  • Provide administrative and organizational support for data protection projects


What You'll Bring

  • You are currently enrolled in a law or business law degree programme, ideally from your 3rd semester onwards.
  • You have a good basic understanding of data protection law and a strong interest in applying it in practice; initial practical experience in data protection is an advantage but not required.
  • You work in a structured, reliable and detail-oriented way and are comfortable working independently.
  • You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems and are keen to take initiative
  • You enjoy working in a team and communicating with different stakeholders.
  • You have very good verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
