This executive leadership role is responsible for defining and driving the enterprise data, analytics, and IT strategy, while ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant technology operations. You will lead data governance, AI enablement, and enterprise IT architecture, enabling data-driven decision-making across clinical, operational, and commercial domains. The role requires building and mentoring high-performing teams, modernizing IT infrastructure, and ensuring regulatory compliance across global operations. You will partner with business leaders to transform data into strategic insights and foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence. Success in this role will be measured by the organization’s ability to leverage data and technology as a competitive advantage. Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute enterprise data, analytics, and AI strategy to deliver measurable business and clinical outcomes
  • Lead IT strategy and enterprise architecture, overseeing infrastructure, applications, and cloud modernization efforts
  • Ensure robust governance, security, and compliance frameworks aligned with HIPAA, SOX, SOC 2, NIST, and other regulatory standards
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage data for clinical research, operational efficiency, and commercial insights
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing global teams across data, analytics, IT, and security domains
  • Oversee vendor relationships, technology partnerships, and innovation initiatives to accelerate enterprise capabilities
  • Serve as an executive advocate for a data-driven culture and promote responsible AI and analytics use

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in data strategy, analytics, IT leadership, and digital transformation within healthcare, medtech, or life sciences
  • Proven ability to operationalize enterprise data and AI initiatives, including cloud-based architectures and machine learning platforms
  • Experience managing enterprise IT operations, including ERP, CRM, and HCM systems
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in healthcare and life sciences
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills
  • Executive presence with experience influencing senior leadership, boards, and external stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications in data governance, cloud, AI, or IT operations (e.g., CDMP, AWS Certified Data Analytics, ITIL, PMP) a plus
