  • Lead enterprise risk and privacy governance across one of Australia’s most trusted not-for-profit organisations.
  • Act as RFDS WA’s Privacy Officer and provide specialist advice on risk, privacy compliance and data breach management.
  • Partner with leaders across the organisation to strengthen controls, assurance and organisational capability.
  • Permanent full-time role based in Jandakot with NFP salary packaging and free onsite parking.

About the Team 
The Risk and Privacy function supports RFDS WA to manage organisational risks, meet its privacy obligations and protect the personal information entrusted to us. Working across clinical, aviation, operational and corporate teams, you’ll help embed practical and consistent approaches to risk management, privacy governance and regulatory compliance.

About the Role 

  • Coordinate RFDS WA’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including risk registers, assessments, controls, treatment plans and reporting.
  • Act as the organisation’s Privacy Officer, providing advice and managing privacy enquiries, complaints, access requests and suspected or actual data breaches.
  • Prepare risk and privacy reporting, strengthen organisational controls and deliver practical guidance, education and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

  • Substantial experience in a similar role with direct responsibility for enterprise risk management and privacy.
  • Previous experience acting as a Privacy Officer, including managing privacy enquiries, complaints and data breach responses.
  • Recognised qualifications in risk management, privacy, governance, compliance or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, privacy legislation, information governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Highly developed analytical, communication and influencing skills, with experience in healthcare, aviation, government, not-for-profit or another regulated environment highly regarded.
