Aon is in the business of better decisions

At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.

As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.

What the day will look like

As a Privacy Manager, you will play a key role in providing mentorship to the business on privacy and data protection matters across the organization. You will combine hands-on advisory work with people leadership and close collaboration across regions.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Coordinate incidents involving personal information breaches and data subject rights requests. Partner effectively with relevant collaborators.
  • Provide practical, business-focused advice on GDPR and other privacy obligations, supporting timely and compliant decision-making.
  • Review, draft and negotiate privacy-related agreements involving customers and vendors.
  • Support and conduct privacy assessments (including PIAs, LIAs and DTIAs) and contribute to ad-hoc projects, such as the implementation of new privacy, cybersecurity or AI-related regulations.
  • Lead and support members of the Privacy team in Krakow, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the EMEA and global GPDTO teams.

How this opportunity is different

This role offers you the chance to work with a highly experienced, global network of privacy professionals within Aon’s GPDTO. You will operate with a high level of autonomy, while still being supported by the wider EMEA Privacy team.

You will gain exposure to privacy laws and regulatory developments worldwide. You will work closely with senior business and shared services leaders. You will contribute to developing privacy approaches in a complex, global organization. This organization operates across risk and human capital services. Collaboration, trust and knowledge-sharing are at the heart of how we work.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 5–7 years of relevant advisory experience in privacy and data protection law, with strong expertise in GDPR.
  • Hands-on experience managing personal data breaches and advising on requests related to individual privacy rights.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating confidentiality and data security clauses with clients and suppliers. Also, conducting impact assessments on information handling locally and globally.
  • A legal background (formally qualified); CIPP certification is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills (minimum C1), combined with a proactive, hard-working approach and the ability to work independently within a multifaceted organization.
