One Trust Privacy Implementation Consultant
Clarity People LtdRole purpose
Clarity People are pleased to be recruiting for this role on behalf of their client.
You will take an agreed privacy, consent or AI governance design and build it: running the requirements workshops, writing the solution design, configuring the platform, testing it properly, getting it through user acceptance and into live use, then handing it to a client team who can run it themselves. OneTrust is the platform most of our work sits on. We are also partners of Transcend and MineOS, and we will fund your enablement on both.
You will usually have two to four clients on the go at once, at different stages, and you will be in front of them throughout. This is a hands-on role.
Key accountabilities
- ● Configure client OneTrust environments across data mapping and inventory, assessments including DPIA and RoPA, data subject rights automation, consent and preference management, third party risk and AI governance.
- ● Run requirements and configuration workshops, and produce solution design documents the client signs off before build.
- ● Set up integrations with client systems, including single sign on, user provisioning, CRM, marketing platforms and data sources.
- ● Prepare test scripts, support user acceptance testing, and resolve defects to closure.
- ● Manage the route to go live, then provide hypercare and hand over with documentation and training.
- ● Act as the day to day implementation contact, report to the client and to our leadership team, keep the RAID log current and raise risk early.
- ● Train and coach client administrators throughout delivery, not just at handover.
- ● Keep time recording, trackers and PMO reporting accurate.
- ● Maintain your OneTrust certification, and build capability on Transcend and MineOS.
- ● Support scoping and estimating for new work, and flag opportunities to grow an account. There is no sales target attached to this role.
Competencies
These are what we assess at interview, on evidence of what you have already done rather than what you would do.
Competency |
What good looks like |
OneTrust implementation |
Configures OneTrust end to end without supervision. Names the modules they have built. Sequences a build by risk and dependency, and says what is deliberately left until later. |
Requirements and design |
Runs a workshop with legal, privacy, IT and business people and holds it to an outcome. Spots a requirement that will not work and reshapes it before it is built. Writes a solution design a client will sign. |
Technical confidence |
Comfortable below the module: single sign on, user provisioning, API tokens and scopes, and debugging a consent banner that is firing tags too early. Talks to client IT without needing a translator. |
Client credibility |
Tells a client about slippage or a mistake early, with options attached. Holds a senior meeting alone. Is the person the client rings first. |
Managing the load |
Carries two to four clients at different stages. Prioritises deliberately when the week goes wrong, and tells everyone affected before the deadline passes rather than after. |
Quality and handover |
Tests against the requirement, not against hope. Leaves documentation another consultant could pick up cold, and a client team who can run the platform without us. |
