The Role:
As a Systems Master Data Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and reliable master data that supports all OTR sites. This position involves data entry and validation across key areas to ensure data integrity and accuracy, enabling smooth operations across our network.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing master data within OTR’s ERP and related business systems
  • Gathering, documenting, and maintaining business requirements for master data, vendors, products, sites and system changes.
  • Ensuring master data updates reflect operational requirements while complying with governance frameworks and business rules.
  • Analysing data workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, or data quality issues and proposing solutions.
  • Performing root cause analysis on recurring data issues and recommending system or process improvements.
  • Validating and testing master data changes and system enhancements to ensure accuracy and integrity.

About you:

  • Ideally qualified in Information Systems, Business Analysis, Data Management, IT, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a master data, business systems, or a data governance role.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and enterprise data structures.
  • Strong understanding of master data management principles and governance.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Experience in system testing, validation, and data quality assurance.
  • Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to check data for accuracy.
  • Comfortable with manual data entry and working with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
