Ops Trust manages privacy and AI Compliance for Amazon Operations. Our focus is to ensure individuals are never surprised by what data we collect, process, and share and that we delight regulators with the quality, transparency, and accuracy of our privacy documentation. We also ensure our AI models and systems are compliant with regulatory obligations and embed responsible AI by design.

Key job responsibilities

Lead, grow, and raise the bar for a team of executing privacy reviews, privacy requests, AI intakes, and AI compliance reviews. Set a high standard for quality and delivery, actively coach and develop team members, and build a talent pipeline that strengthens the organization over time. Identify systemic opportunities to accelerate work and leverage and create AI capabilities.

Drive strategic prioritization of privacy and AI compliance workstreams across the team, balancing business urgency with long-term scalability. Own capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery against competing demands.

Architect and continuously improve mechanisms, playbooks, and standard operating procedures that enable your team to scale review throughput while maintaining rigor. Proactively identify gaps before they become blockers.

Lead complex privacy and AI risk assessments for launched and launching applications, exercising sound judgment to make informed risk trade-offs and partnering with builders, legal, and senior leadership to drive resolution.

Perform deep-dive analysis on privacy and AI processes and systems, identify systemic root causes, and develop scalable mitigations. Raise the bar by turning one-off fixes into durable, org-wide solutions.

Influence cross-organizationally across Ops, Legal, Policy, and federated privacy and AI teams to embed privacy and responsible AI into strategic decisions. Earn trust at all levels and drive alignment without direct authority.

Stay ahead of evolving privacy and AI regulatory developments globally. Translate complex regulatory changes into clear, actionable guidance for your team and broader stakeholders.

Think Big and shape the Ops Trust strategic vision. Define and own privacy and AI compliance metrics, deliver insights to senior leadership and identify opportunities to expand the team's impact across the organization.
