We are looking for a highly motivated AI Governance Manager to join our Global AI Operations team. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of AI operations, governance, and business delivery.

You will play a key role in ensuring that AI initiatives are implemented efficiently while remaining compliant, ethical, and aligned with organisational standards. Acting as a bridge between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, you will drive AI adoption while maintaining strong governance frameworks.


Responsibilities

  • AI & Legal Tech Vendor Management

    • Manage relationships with AI and legal tech vendors (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, iManage, Kira, ContractPodAi, etc.)
    • Lead vendor onboarding, implementation, and performance tracking
    • Monitor SLAs, risks, and product roadmaps
    • Evaluate new tools and maintain an AI vendor landscape

    AI Implementation & Delivery

    • Partner with business and tech teams to deploy AI-powered workflows
    • Translate AI strategy into structured execution plans
    • Drive implementation sprints and eliminate delivery bottlenecks
    • Build and manage a reusable AI workflow library

    AI Governance & Risk

    • Maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and controls
    • Manage AI risk registers and support audits/compliance reviews
    • Ensure adherence to regulations (GDPR, EU AI Act readiness, etc.)
    • Champion responsible and ethical AI practices

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technology, Legal, Risk, HR, Finance)
    • Provide reporting, dashboards, and governance updates
    • Represent AI Operations in key forums and discussions

    AI Support & Enablement

    • Support AI Help Desk operations and ensure SLA adherence
    • Guide users on AI tools and governance-compliant usage
    • Identify adoption challenges and improve processes
    • Support rollout of new AI tools and features

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential

  • 6–10 years of experience, with 3+ years in AI, legal tech, or governance roles
  • Strong knowledge of AI governance, operations, and risk
  • Experience with AI/legal tech tools and vendor management
  • Good project management and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on delivery with strategic oversight
     

Desirable

  • Background in Legal Tech / Legal Operations
  • Exposure to AI regulations (e.g., EU AI Act)
  • Experience driving AI adoption or change initiatives
  • Relevant AI, governance, or project certifications
