Summary

The Summer Internship Program at Jennison Associates is a 10 week program that includes a variety of events and projects to provide students with a challenging and meaningful experience. This program was created and formalized with the goal of preparing students for their future by enhancing their industry knowledge and expanding their professional network, while providing them with a real-life work experience.

Your Impact

The Information Governance Intern will assist in streamlining current tasks and assist in implementing new processes that comply with client, regulatory and business requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with the following projects:

  • Jennison’s annual security engineering specifications compliance suppressions review
  • JIRA attestation Project to reconcile the active directory groups in JIRA
  • Assist in creating firmwide phishing campaigns
  • Adhoc Information Security projects to gain exposure to Jennison’s Information Security, Cybersecurity and Cyber Resiliency Programs including:
    • Assisting with the implementation of an active directory backup solution to protect against ransomware
    • Assisting with the implementation of a malware detection solution for incoming files
    • Adhoc projects for Vendor Governance, Third Party Risk Management and Records Management including:
    • Assisting with setup and administration of Microsoft Purview/SharePoint libraries and retention policies
    • Stale data review process for Records Management
    • RiskRecon vendor inventory reconciliation.
  • Utilizing AI tools such as MS-Copilot to find efficiencies in current Information Governance processes

Your Required Skills

  • We are currently seeking a candidate who is highly motivated, possesses excellent communication skills, and has the ability to work in a busy environment while multi-tasking.
  • Rising Junior working towards a BA/BS with a 3.3 GPA or higher
  • Interest in Information Security and Cyber Security
  • Availability to work up to 40 hours per week over 10 weeks (beginning in June to mid-August approximately)
  • This role will work in alignment with Jennison’s hybrid model (onsite Tuesday – Thursday and remote Monday, Friday)

The hourly rate for this role is $30/hour and rates for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
