  • Work in line with Bupa’s values: Brave, Caring and Responsible.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with strong privacy, data, digital and AI knowledge, who can turn complex legal topics into clear, practical advice.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience as a legal or privacy professional or similar, with specialist knowledge of privacy, data, digital and AI law or regulation.

  • A legal qualification or professional privacy certification, such as CIPP/E, CIPP/M or equivalent would be desirable.

  • A customer centric approach with experience in giving clear, commercially aware / practical and timely advice.

  • Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including data protection and AI terms.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to different audiences.

  • Experience implementing policies, procedures, governance and reporting in a global setting.

  • Confidence in making sound judgements, sometimes with incomplete information.

  • The ability to work independently, stay organised and manage priorities.

  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across different and diverse teams and confidence to challenge where needed and suggest practical alternatives.

  • Enthusiasm for adopting new technology and new ways of working.

  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Experience in a multinational organisation, insurance, healthcare or care setting would be helpful, but it’s not essential.
