Position Purpose

This position's main purpose is to support the design, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of Global Processes of Johnson & Johnson’s Global Privacy Organization (GPO).

Position Description

  • Expert individual contributor who is viewed as a valuable resource by peers, who supports large projects or processes.
  • Enable management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations and that policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Adheres to industry standards for compliance and identifies areas for process improvement in compliance processes.
  • Acts as business analyst for the Global Privacy Organization’s Governance & Operations team, supporting the GPO in:
  • The effective and efficient configuration and maintenance of the IT solutions used by the GPO, such as OneTrust (Personal Data Inventory, XIAs, Privacy Incident Management, Privacy Notice Management), TruVault (GPO Document Control), Monday.com (GPO Planning & Review), ServiceNow (GPO Support intake), Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Sharepoint and centrally managed mailboxes
  • Providing end-user support for such IT solutions, including user enrolment, functional support and data management support (import, export,, bulk updates, generating reports, etc.)
  • Monitor and coordinate messaged received in centrally managed GPO mailboxes, such as
  • the external EU DPO Mailbox: monitoring & assigning to appropriate GPO SME and sending approved responses,
  • the internal GPO Privacy Assessments mailbox: monitoring & reviewing incoming Compliance Analysis requests and assigning to appropriate GPO SME.
  • Enable reporting (e.g., through dashboards) to management on GPO processes.
  • Participation in GPO Governance and Operation Team's priority projects.
  • Member of the GPO Governance and Operations Team. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • BS/BA equivalent
  • 5+ years as (IT) business analyst in data protection/privacy roles
  • Prefered area of study: Data Protection/Privacy, Information Management, IT, Information Security, Data science
  • Understanding of project management skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment to ensure adherence to the company's privacy standards.
  • Experience maintaining stakeholder and partner relationships. 
  • Basic knowledge of data privacy and data protection regulations and a good understanding of other major privacy frameworks and evolving legislation worldwide 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail. 
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm. 
  • A detail-oriented approach needed to recommend and implement strategic improvements on a range of data privacy and data protection processes. 
  • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion when providing recommendations and suggesting solutions.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€79 800,00 - €137 770,00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
