We are seeking a detail-oriented Global Master Data Officer to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate master data, supporting period-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Vendor, Customer, and Master Data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Verify request information, approval authority (DOA), and supporting documentation before processing master data requests.
Ensure vendor, customer, and master data accurately reflects business requirements while adhering to company naming and address standards.
Update and maintain Desktop Procedures (DTP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for any process changes.
Perform period-end close activities, including subledger and general ledger cut-off in SAP, within established timelines.
Support internal and external audit activities by preparing accurate documentation and responding to audit requests.
Meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while delivering high-quality service.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve master data issues and perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
1–3 years of experience in Master Data, Finance Operations, Shared Services, or a similar administrative role.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with excellent data accuracy and validation skills.
Good understanding of period-end close processes and financial controls is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
