As a Data Protection Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will assist businesses in navigating the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Within our Cybersecurity & Privacy practice, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward isn’t clear.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will help develop privacy policies, conduct privacy impact assessments, and implement data protection measures to safeguard personal information. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will contribute to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements, while developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations to confirm compliance with applicable standards
- Developing privacy policies and conducting privacy impact assessments to safeguard personal information
- Implementing data protection measures to minimize legal risks and maintain regulatory compliance
- Navigating complex legal landscapes to provide strategic guidance across various industries
- Building meaningful client connections and managing relationships to deliver quality service
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex concepts and inform insights and recommendations
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to address data breach concerns and enhance information security
- Conducting investigations and legal document reviews to support corporate litigations and regulatory compliance consulting
- Promoting privacy program development and records management policies to optimize data utilization and protection
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
