As a Data Protection Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will help businesses navigate the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Working in this area, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality work. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, asking questions and using these moments as opportunities to grow.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage your skills within our Strategy Consulting practice to provide comprehensive legal solutions and advice to internal stakeholders and clients. You will maintain compliance with regulations and minimize legal risks, providing strategic guidance and support across various industries.

Responsibilities

- Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients across various industries
- Conducting privacy impact assessments and developing privacy policies to safeguard personal information
- Implementing data protection measures to confirm compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Analyzing complex privacy and data protection requirements to deliver tailored solutions for clients
- Collaborating with clients to navigate the evolving landscape of privacy regulations and data protection standards
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and inform insights and recommendations
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Mentoring junior team members in understanding privacy law and data protection practices
- Engaging in continuous learning to enhance skills in cybersecurity and privacy compliance
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs to deliver quality service

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
