We provide assurance that any changes affecting the IT environment will be fundamentally safe and allow a quick return on the client's investment. The team, which focuses on identities, privileged access management, and cloud security, is part of our broader Cyber Security team.

About the Manager

Martin Zbořil is a leader of the Identity and Cloud Security team and his major experience lies in cloud security. Within this area, Martin also finished his PhD study. Besides cloud security, he has extensive knowledge also of many other areas of cybersecurity. Martin builds a cross-functional team that includes the IAM area and cloud security with a strong focus on protection of data in the cloud. Martin pays great attention to upskilling and personal development which might be considered also as his hobby. In his personal life, he is a sports enthusiast and among his favorite sports belong football, golf, skiing, gym, cycling, tennis and many others. 

Job description & summary

As a Data Protection & Microsoft Purview Specialist, you will collaborate closely with various IT teams or clients to ensure robust protection of data across both cloud and on-premise environments, leveraging Microsoft Purview. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing data protection strategies, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, and integrating Microsoft Purview with other security and data management solutions. You will be responsible for monitoring data environments, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that data protection measures are in line with best practices and organizational policies. This role involves not only the technical implementation but also advising on data protection strategies and policies to ensure comprehensive data security.

Requirements of the role

You needn't be an expert in the data protection area, we can help you to become so. All you need is:

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices.

  • Experience with design, implementation and/or operation of a data protection solution, e.g. data loss prevention, data classification or information protection.

  • Consistent, reliable, and professional personality with a sense of ownership, capable of working within international & diverse teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills: ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues, alternatives, and recommendations.

  • Proficiency in Czech and English, as you will use both languages in communication with clients.


Your advantages could be:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection, and other Microsoft security and compliance tools.

  • Microsoft security certifications, such as SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400 etc.

  • Experience with data governance.

  • Experience in implementing and managing data protection and compliance frameworks.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection.

  • Understanding of data lifecycle management and data retention policies.

  • Hands-on experience with auditing data access and data activity monitoring.

  • Advanced knowledge of encryption technologies and secure data storage practices.

  • Experience with conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and managing data breach incidents.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, and NIST.

  • Project management skills.

  • Proficiency in German language.
