UCT is looking for a talented Data Protection Analyst to join us in Cebu!

Come and impact the Ultra Clean Technologies organization! This role is critical to protecting the company’s sensitive data and supporting compliance initiatives. The Data Protection Analyst will work hands-on with Microsoft Purview technologies to detect risks, investigate alerts, and strengthen data security across the enterprise.

Position Overview

The Data Protection Analyst is responsible for supporting the operation and optimization of the organization’s data protection controls using Microsoft Purview. This role focuses on monitoring, alert triage, policy tuning, and analysis of sensitive data handling to reduce risk and improve compliance posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and use Microsoft Purview solutions including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Sensitivity labeling
  • Monitor alerts and investigate potential data loss or misuse activities.
  • Escalate high-risk incidents and support response efforts.
  • Analyze user activity and data movement to identify potential risks.
  •  Assist in refining DLP and labeling policies to reduce false positives.
  • Support classification initiatives across Microsoft 365 workloads.
  • Assist in audit activities and maintain documentation for compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal, and HR on investigations.

Education and Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in information security, data protection, or compliance
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview or similar tools preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
