This role will directly report to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of the company. You
will be responsible for the practical implementation of our data protection program,
ensuring our day-to-day business operations align with the relevant regulations.
YOUR CHALLENGE:Â
- Actively monitor and provide the team with actionable updates on data privacy
laws and news across the EU (GDPR), USA & Canada regulations.
- Manage the Data Privacy Calendar: ensuring all regulatory reporting deadlines,
employee training sessions, and awareness campaigns are executed on time.
- Support on specific projects & tasks as assigned by DPO.
- Support the DPO in performing privacy audits and monitoring the effectiveness
of internal controls to verify organizational data privacy compliance.
- Conduct deep-dive research into specific privacy topics as assigned by the DPO
and prepare executive summaries or detailed reports to guide decision-making.
- Support in the drafting & implementation of internal procedures for Data Privacy
policies.
- Third-Party Risk: Support in the drafting and review of Data Processing
Agreements (DPAs) and Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) of new
vendors and tools.
- Support in the maintenance of Data Inventory, Incident Reports, and Inventory of
DSARs, among others.
- Monitoring of specific projects with Data Privacy Content.
TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Admin, or related field, or demonstrable
experience in the Data Privacy and/or Compliance in the Gaming Industry with
exposure to multijurisdictional requirements [min. 3 years].
- Knowledge & Understanding of Data Privacy under EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or US
Privacy Laws. Certifications in Data Privacy studies highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong research capability with the ability to summarize content in a user-friendly manner.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
