As a Data Privacy - Manager, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will assist businesses in navigating the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In this role, you will develop privacy policies, conduct privacy impact assessments, and implement data protection measures to safeguard personal information.

As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Cyber, Data & Tech Risk network, working within our Data Risk practice. This opportunity allows you to engage with a diverse range of industries, providing strategic guidance and support while upholding PwC’s quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients across various industries
- Developing and implementing privacy policies and data protection measures to safeguard personal information
- Conducting privacy impact assessments to identify potential risks and compliance gaps
- Navigating complex privacy and data protection requirements to confirm compliance with applicable laws
- Leading teams in planning, budgeting, and executing projects related to privacy and data protection
- Mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance in delivering client expectations
- Collaborating with leadership to maintain quality and timelines for deliverables
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with stakeholders when necessary
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Embracing technology and innovation to improve service delivery and encourage team adoption

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
