Role Overview

Data Privacy Lead in Cyber Security

Key Responsibilities

1.      Manage and lead team of Cyber sec and Privacy management engineers with focus on Medical Devices, Healthcare and Connected systems.

2.      Mid to large program management across, enterprise, cloud and local systems Data security and privacy management.

3.      Training, L&D – ability to guide, coach, train and deploy new resources in Data Protection, Privacy, Info sec. and Cyber sec operations.

4.      Analyzing workloads, workstreams and budgeting + resource planning for ensuring workload management of a Data Privacy led Cyber sec. program.

5.      Coordinating with Customer and internal Cross functional teams to prioritize and manage project workloads, training L&D needs and timeline.

6.      Ensure annual, periodic compliance and audits in line with CCPA, SOC2, GDPR and other requirements.

7.      Handle critical Data Privacy and Sec risks management in Medical devices, Healthcare and related connected systems security in a regulated environment.

Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge and experience across Data Privacy management, Cloud security, Cloud Access Controls management, IAM

Skills:

-          Experience in Data Mgmt., Privacy mgmt, programs and Cyber security operations.

-          Strong knowledge and experience across Data Privacy management.

-          Work exp. In Data privacy tasks like IAM, Access controls, logins, tracking and monitory activity, data encryptions, exposure, retention, personal/ user data mgmt., security posture assessment, policies and legal framework mapping, vendor assessments etc..

-          Exposure to managing Data Privacy, encryptions, storage, transmission, Digital transformations, migration programs, Data Loss & Leak prevention.

-          Experience with PET (Privacy enhancing tech), Encryption, Data Anonymization, Differential privacy, IAM, Multi-factor authentications.

-          Building Zero Trust framework for Data security and privacy mgmt., Compliance management.

-          Understand “Privacy by Design” implementation across the product dev, SDLC and Dev Ops.

-          Hands on exposure to Risk management and threat analysis, impact analysis, and resolution,

-          Analyzing Data Privacy and Controls for new age AI and Agentic AI led internal and external security challenges, threats and securing critical data.

-          Analyzing, auditing, testing LLMs, implementing secured AI frameworks, AI tools development, driving AI governance, AI ethical use frameworks etc.

-          Application security and managing User data safety, data integrity and protection in large organizations.

-          Cloud security, Cloud Access Controls mgmt., exposure to AWS, AWS Security Hub, GCP, DLP (Data Loss prevention) , MS Azure environments and testing.

-          Good understanding and exp. with Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration testing, Docker Rep testing, other Cyber Sec operations and associated threat assessments including leading risk management, Governance and audits.

-          Exposure to SOUP mgmt., OTS/ TPA and vendor assessments, testing and AI led tooling for security assessments.

-          Experience in global regulatory and standards compliance for privacy including GDPR, CCPA and DPDP for India.

-          Exposure to Scrum, Agile and tools like Jira or PMP certification is desirable.

Certifications by global agencies in Data Privacy Mgmt. & Cyber sec. desirable
