Our AmLaw 100 client is hiring discreetly in NYC for a mid-level privacy associate supporting tech, life sciences, and emerging tech clients where AI and data governance are front-and-center.

Role Summary
• Provide privacy counseling tied to product launches, vendor deals, and data monetization strategies
• Draft and negotiate DPAs, privacy and data governance agreements, and complex technology transactions
• Apply federal and state privacy laws and emerging AI regulations in practical, business-facing advice
• Run privacy diligence and negotiate privacy provisions in PE investments and M&A deals
• Plus-factor: experience with privacy/AI regulatory inquiries or investigations

Candidate Profile
• JD 2022–2023 (3–4 years) with meaningful privacy counseling reps
• Strong drafting, issue-spotting, and comfort negotiating data terms with sophisticated counterparties
• Bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly) and deal sheet required
