The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you support privacy audit engagements and help execute assessments across global data privacy regulations and U.S. health data requirements. As an Associate you are focused on learning and contributing to projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on audit experience, work with senior professionals, and deepen your understanding of privacy regulations while contributing to impactful projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of software solutions
- Collaborate with team members to enhance product features
- Engage in testing and debugging processes to confirm quality
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Utilize various tools and methodologies to solve technical challenges
- Support documentation efforts for software development processes
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and updates
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software engineering practices

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, IT, Law, or related discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in privacy or IT audit, risk, compliance, or related roles
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, IT, Law, or related discipline preferred
- Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CISA, or CISSP preferred
- Working knowledge of GDPR, LGPD, DPDP, and HIPAA requirements
- Understanding of PII protection and IT security concepts
- Exposure to privacy risk assessments and compliance gaps
- Familiarity with UCF, NIST, ISO 27001 frameworks
- Excelling in written and verbal communication
- Comfortably prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated interest in enhancing audit processes
