Position Type: Full-Time
Starting Salary: $100,000
Salary Increases: Year 2 - $105,000 | Year 3 - $112,500
Work Location: Aurora, IL
This role is eligible to participate in the ALDI Legal Hybrid Work Program, which requires work in-office at least 2 days per month.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
 
• Coordinates, reviews and evaluates the life cycle of consumer and sensitive data, including the collection, storage, use, transfer, retention, and destruction of information.
Coordinates and conducts analysis for business-wide programs related to privacy, including facilitation and Privacy Impact and AI Assessment activities.
• Processes all Data Subject Requests.
• Reviews privacy and security controls and makes compliance recommendations.
• Researches and responds to privacy-related inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Monitors and analyzes privacy-related legislation and researches current privacy industry standards.
• Responds to privacy and security surveys and questionnaires required by other program areas and other risk identification initiatives.
• Assists with evaluating third-party contracts regarding privacy practices and controls, as appropriate.
• Prepares ad hoc reports on privacy analysis for the business.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
• Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.

Education and Experience:
 
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Legal Services and Privacy related field required.
 OneTrust experience/certifications related to the Privacy Rights Automation Module that include creating and updating web forms and workflows for 
legislative compliance.
• Experience in privacy analysis, information security and process management work required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. 
 
Physical Requirements:
 
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs. 
 
Travel:

• Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
