Act as the single point of contact for data-related topics (data architecture, databases, BI reporting, analytics and AI initiatives) within your business domains.
Translate business needs into clear data and analytics use cases that deliver measurable value.
Lead data-related change requests independently, working with multiple stakeholders and contributors.
Take ownership of initiatives from idea definition through implementation to adoption.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, identify opportunities and align expectations.
Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers by shaping use cases, defining priorities and ensuring business alignment.
Formulate solution requirements based on information and user input.
Support the introduction and adoption of AI-driven solutions (e.g. AI agents, advanced analytics, document intelligence) by translating technical concepts into practical business applications.
Identify opportunities for document intelligence (e.g. automated processing of orders, confirmations or operational documents) in collaboration with logistics, procurement and data science teams.
Contribute to a forward-looking vision on DEME’s data and digital landscape, including topics such as data governance and AI governance.
You have at least 3 years of experience as a Data Officer, Data Analyst, Business Analyst or in a similar business-facing data role.
You have a good understanding of data management, data engineering, reporting and analytics concepts.
You have a solid understanding of AI and data science concepts, allowing you to actively contribute to shaping AI-driven solutions from a business and functional perspective.
You have a working understanding of Python and analytics concepts, enabling you to engage in meaningful discussions with data scientists and engineers (hands-on development is not required).
Experience with data science or AI platforms (e.g. Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, large language models) is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or similar) is a plus.
You have strong experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management and functional analysis.
You are comfortable operating in complex environments and are not afraid to take ownership of new or ambiguous topics.
You have excellent communication skills and are able to explain complex data topics in a clear and accessible way.
You have a pragmatic mindset and focus on impact and value creation rather than theoretical perfection.
You are collaborative, proactive and enjoy working closely with both business and technical teams.
Knowledge or experience in change management is considered an asset.
