The Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM) focuses on strengthening and managing secure, reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable global supply chains to enhance health and well-being in low- and middle-income countries by increasing access to quality and affordable health products. Overall responsibilities
Designs, develops, and maintains interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and underlying data models to convert raw supply chain and operational data into actionable business insights. The SQL Power BI Analyst works closely with the Lead Data Analyst and business stakeholders to write optimized SQL queries, construct star-schema data models, build complex DAX measures, and enforce data accuracy across internal and external reporting platforms.
Specific responsibilities
Data Quality & Error Correction
- Perform routine and targeted data checks to identify discrepancies, missing values, duplicates, and process linkage errors across systems.
- Execute operational data corrections in collaboration with Finance, Logistics, Procurement, and PPM teams.
- Support organizational data quality initiatives by conducting periodic master data audits and enforcing consistent data entry standards.
Operational Reporting & Maintenance
- Assist in updating and maintaining standard operational reports, tracker spreadsheets, and existing Power BI dashboards.
- Extract and compile routine datasets using Excel and basic SQL queries to support ongoing departmental data requests.
- Assist in verifying monthly and quarterly reporting inputs prior to final aggregation.
Database & Process Support
- Support the maintenance of core master data tables and reference sets (e.g., lead time matrices, rate cards, item master data).
- Log recurring data issues and collaborate with technical analysts and business units to suggest workflow or system process improvements.
- Assist in documenting data methodologies, correction logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ad-Hoc Assistance
- Perform basic data extractions and exploratory checks for ad-hoc requests as assigned by the Data Analytics & Reporting Manager.
- Provide general administrative and analytical support to the broader Data & Reporting unit.
Qualifications
Professional and Technical Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and certified technical training).
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, master data management, or business operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, complex formulas).
- Working knowledge of Power BI (navigating, updating, and basic report editing) and basic SQL querying capabilities (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN statements).
- Previous experience in supply chain, international logistics, or ERP environments is a plus.
- Strong logical thinking and systematic problem-solving skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.
Interpersonal skills/Communication
- Good written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate data issues clearly to operational teams.
