Job Description -

Inviting applications for the role of Counsel EMEA Data Privacy Manager - English We are looking for a talented Legal Privacy Counsel to join our global Legal Regulatory and Compliance team. This role is based within the European Legal Privacy and Compliance team in Romania. You will be joining a professional supportive and collaborative team that highly values teamwork and mutual respect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in European privacy law and data protection including EU and UK GDPR and a proven track record of providing practical legal advice and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Responsibilities: - Provide expert legal advice on privacy and data protection laws including EU and UK GDPR e-Privacy Directive AI Act and other relevant regulations. - Develop implement and maintain privacy policies and procedures. - Conduct data privacy impact assessments and provide advice on privacy and data protection matters such as data subject rights privacy maturity assessments client audits and AI matters. - Advise on data breach response and manage incident investigations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders to ensure privacy compliance in all business operations. - Draft and negotiate data processing agreements and other privacy-related contracts. - Monitor and analyze changes in privacy laws and regulations and update company policies templates and contracts accordingly. - Conduct training and awareness programs on privacy and data protection for employees. - Represent the company in privacy-related regulatory inquiries.
