Constructor is hiring a Commercial and Privacy Counsel – EMEA to support its rapidly growing international business. As the second member of the legal team, this role operates at the center of commercial execution, product development, and regulatory strategy—partnering closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and leadership to support expansion across European markets.

In this role, you will lead commercial legal support for EMEA customer relationships, drafting and negotiating enterprise SaaS agreements, including MSAs, DPAs, and AI-related terms. You will work directly with go-to-market teams to structure deals, balance risk, and enable efficient revenue growth across diverse jurisdictions.

You will also serve as a key advisor on European data protection and privacy frameworks, including GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, NIS2, and emerging regulations such as the EU AI Act. This includes overseeing elements of the company’s data protection compliance program—supporting DPIAs, ROPA maintenance, DSARs, and broader privacy-by-design initiatives across product and engineering workflows.

The role extends into forward-looking regulatory strategy, where you will monitor evolving AI and data regulations across the EU and UK, translate requirements into practical guidance, and help shape compliance efforts as new frameworks take effect. You will also contribute to building scalable legal infrastructure, including templates, playbooks, and self-service tools that improve operational efficiency across a growing international organization.
