Job Description

We are currently partnering with a fast-growing AI & Data consulting company in Japan that is actively expanding its AI & Data division and is now looking for both AI Consultants and Senior AI Consultants.

Please note that prior financial industry experience is NOT required.

For foreign candidates, a valid Japanese work visa and at least JLPT N2-level Japanese (or equivalent business Japanese communication skills) are required to apply.

Position Levels

• AI Consultant (1 ~ 3 years experience): ¥5M – ¥10M JPY
• Senior AI Consultant (3 years + ): ¥10M – ¥25M JPY

The company works directly with major enterprise clients in Japan on large-scale AI transformation, Generative AI adoption, AI governance, and enterprise DX initiatives.

These positions focus heavily on AI strategy, AI implementation support, AI governance, organizational AI enablement, and enterprise-level transformation projects rather than purely hands-on AI model development.

You will work closely with large enterprise clients, AI/Data teams, executives, and business stakeholders to help organizations successfully adopt and operationalize AI technologies in real business environments.

The environment is highly collaborative and business-oriented, combining AI consulting, project leadership, organizational transformation, and modern AI technology initiatives.

Interview Process:

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support enterprise AI consulting projects
• Drive AI transformation and DX initiatives for enterprise clients
• Support AI strategy planning and roadmap creation
• Support AI governance, security, compliance, and operational design initiatives
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to bridge business and technical teams
• Support AI CoE (Center of Excellence) establishment and organizational enablement
• Analyze business challenges and define AI utilization strategies
• Support AI adoption, AI workflow design, and operational improvement initiatives
• Participate in enterprise Generative AI implementation projects
• Support internal AI capability building and AI talent enablement

Requirements

Required:

• Experience leading or supporting AI/DX-related projects in business environments
• Experience working with enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Experience managing or coordinating projects and teams
• Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2+ or equivalent)
• Eligibility to work in Japan

Preferred:
• Experience in AI consulting or DX consulting
• Experience with AI governance, security, or compliance initiatives
• Experience with enterprise AI adoption or organizational transformation
• Experience collaborating with AI Engineers or Data Scientists
• Basic understanding of Python, SQL, AI workflows, or data analysis
• Experience with Generative AI initiatives
• English communication skills
